Mission The Hooks and Books club’s purpose is to create a space for Pitt students to share their love for books and literature while also working on fiber arts projects such as crocheting and knitting. These are two hobbies that pair well together, and these monthly meetings will provide a way for students to destress and find community with other people with similar interests. We are meeting once a month to ensure that Hooks and Books stays a relaxed environment, as one month to read a book is about as much commitment as college students can handle from a recreational club. The main goal is to create friendship between members of the club and create an environment that makes people feel safe and relaxed on campus.
