Option Life Builders Volunteers will assist in assembling cleaning supply kits for families in need within our community. These kits help families maintain a safe and healthy living environment. Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: Work together to assemble cleaning kits, including items such as disinfectant, sponges, paper towels, and other household essentials. Organize supplies by type and ensure each kit is complete and neatly packed. Label and prepare finished kits for distribution. If time allows, volunteers will assist with sorting and organizing the supply room to maintain an orderly and efficient storage space. Option Vincentian Home Volunteers will help prepare our new volunteer and community space by assisting with clearing out the room, relocating furniture as directed, and sorting through existing supplies. They will help organize materials by determining what should be kept or discarded, grouping items, and setting up a more functional storage system. Volunteers may also support light cleaning such as wiping down surfaces, dusting, and tidying the area. As the space takes shape, they will assist with assembling or arranging shelves and bins, labeling supplies, and helping staff with simple layout decisions. Throughout the project, volunteers are expected to follow staff guidance, maintain a safe work environment, and work collaboratively with one another. Join PittServes' Signature Days of Service Committee, Office of Inclusion and Belonging, and Fraternity and Sorority Life for our inaugural MLK Jr. Day of Service, Community, and Connection. We will start with breakfast on campus followed by our keynote speaker. After feeding your body and mind, volunteers will participate in volunteer opportunities on and off campus.

Breakfast will be served from 10:15-10:45am. Doors will close at 10:45am for the Keynote Speaker. From there, volunteers will be dismissed to buses for off campus projects and other rooms for on campus projects. All volunteers must arrive by 10:45am.

Registration is required and will close on Monday, January 12th or when volunteer spots are full. Spots are limited!
