About Us

The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy. Pitt ASDA provides educational and social experiences during students’ tenure in dental school while also encouraging lifelong community engagement and political advocacy on behalf of the dental profession and dental patients. For decades, Pitt ASDA has been a pillar of advocacy, leadership, and extracurricular programming at Pitt Dental Medicine. At Pitt ASDA, we look forward to many more years of continued success as an organization, school, and profession.
