Welcome to Empower– a student organization for Pitt women by Pitt women built on the pillars of mentorship, community, and personal development. This club was created as the result of a recognized need for unity and a stronger support system for women looking to make the most out of their time at the University of Pittsburgh. We pride ourselves on achieving this through the means of physical wellness, mental wellness, social wellness, financial development, and professional development. Ultimately, it is our mission to empower all Pitt undergraduate women and women-identifying individuals to feel confident in their ability to succeed– whether that be in an academic setting, post-graduate setting, or personal experience. We believe that success is not unilateral but a collaborative effort by leaders and those that came before them. After all, empowered women Empower women.
