About Us
The Graduate Student Democrats at Pitt seek to empower graduate and professional students to engage critically and constructively in the democratic process. We aim to foster informed political dialogue, advance progressive policy solutions grounded in research and expertise, and strengthen the connection between scholarship and public service. Through advocacy, community engagement, and collaboration with local and national Democratic organisations, we work to translate academic insight into practical action for social and economic justice while catering to the busy and involved schedules of the graduate student body.
