About Us

The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) of the University of Pittsburgh is composed of students, faculty, and administrators functioning interdependently and striving towards a single, common goal — to achieve and maintain the highest level of scholarship, academic integrity, and education within the School. It is recognized that in pursuit of this goal, mutual rights, responsibilities, and obligations exist on the part of each of these groups. The GSPIA Student Cabinet is charged with the duty of representing and serving the Student Body by acting as an advocate for the interests of the students within the School, as well as by promoting and enhancing the quality of education, and the general welfare of the students, within the School.
