About Us

We, students of the University of Pittsburgh, do hereby establish the INFORMS Student Chapter in order to promote, enhance, and further the welfare of all students interested in Operations Research and Management Science. The purpose of the organization is to represent the interests of such students by providing networking opportunities and social events. The organization will also serve as a liaison between the University of Pittsburgh and the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS) national organization.
