Mission
PRISM at Pitt aims to provide an inclusive space for students of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to come together and gain a supportive environment, with particular focus on mental wellbeing. To accomplish this, we seek to put emphasis on events that bring communities together and advance the rights and provisions for LGBTQIA+ students, including celebratory, advocation, and educational events. We desire to ensure that LGBTQIA+ students, who may experience mental health struggles unique to the LGBTQIA+ experience, always have a place to seek support.
