About Us
The Puerto Rican Student Association is a student led organization dedicated to spreading and sharing the Puerto Rican culture across campus. It will not only allow a safe space for students to celebrate culture and identity, but also promote a freedom of culture and tradition that will bolster a community of Latin American influence. PRSA is an organization dedicated to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to share, learn and embrace the Puerto Rican Caribbean culture through educational, social and cultural activities. It will provide a trans-cultural opportunity for students to embark in a new and contemporary perspective on Latin American life. The transition from a small, tropical island to an industrial, large city can seem quite complex. This organization aims to help students feel familiar at a home away from home.
