About Us

Smart Woman Securities (SWS) is a chapter of a national organization that focuses on investment and financial literacy education for undergraduate women. This organization was created to focus on personal finance and investment education from the introductory level, as opposed to other investment organizations that are catered to students who had already been investing for years. Our mission is to reduce the intimidation factor that surrounds investments and encourage more women to take control of their financial knowledge. Student participants will have access to educational seminars and mentoring initiatives through national and chapter programming. Our goal is to endow every woman with the proper skills and training in order to successfully invest on her own. SWS is dedicated to and will succeed in creating a new generation of women with greater investment knowledge and financial influence.
