Mission
The UPJ Lacrosse Club introduces and educates students about lacrosse, focusing on fundamental skills, game strategy, and fitness. Our club provides a welcoming environment for players of all experience levels—whether they are completely new to the sport or looking to refine their abilities. Through structured practices, skill-building sessions, and interactive learning opportunities, we aim to foster a deep appreciation for the game while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Our primary focus is on developing the players knowledge and skills in a low-pressure, inclusive setting. As participation grows, we may explore the possibility of forming dedicated men's and women's teams for scrimmages or local club-level play when that time comes. However, our immediate goal is to create a strong foundation for lacrosse on campus, ensuring that students have access to equipment, training, and a supportive community to learn and enjoy the sport.
