About Us

The Outdoors Club provides the student body with a continuous source of outdoor recreational activities, fostering an appreciation for nature, physical well-being, and camaraderie among students. Given that UPJ is uniquely situated in a more rural and nature-oriented setting compared to any other Pitt campus, the Outdoors Club serves as a key organization that takes full advantage of the surrounding landscape. The club promotes adventure, environmental awareness, and personal growth through outdoor experiences that are particularly well-suited to UPJ’s location.
