"This organization shall prove to be a stimulating and supportive atmosphere that promotes the cultural, educational, political, and social needs of students of African-American descent. It is the vision of this organization to aid the students in experiencing higher rates of institutional satisfaction, increase graduation rates (equal to or greater than institutional norms), and show evidence of high-quality personal and academic achievement. This organization recognizes the value of diversity in the student body and acknowledges the need for unity among African-American students. We will always encourage our members to become strong, educated leaders who attempt to better the quality of life for all students. "
