Mission
The purpose of Women in Business includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- To serve as an advocate for the needs and concerns of women business students
- To act as a liaison between women business students and the College of Business Administration* faculty and staff, College of Business Administration, and Business Student Council
- To assist students and faculty with various functions throughout the year including, but not limited to, gender recruitment, tutoring, mentoring, scholarship availability, and leadership development
- To aid in the development of networking resources of alumni as well as companies and other affiliates in the Pittsburgh area
- To organize activities that provide insight into the business arena with respect to women
