The purpose of this organization is to learn more about the Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes through the 3D printing process projects and research. We will explore many different areas of the AM field to learn more about different 3D printing processes and applications and communicate our findings to other professionals in the field. The club will provide UPJ students access to utilize 3D printers and organize extracurricular engineering activities making use of 3D printers.

The UPJ Concert Choir/Chamber Choir is a student organization whose primary goals are performance oriented. The mission of the choir is to develop vocal singing skills, knowledge of vocal literature from all historical periods, and to complete at least one public performance every semester. In this way, the choirs are able to promote the appreciation of choral vocal music. The choirs also have secondary goals, including community service. Members of the choirs participate in service activities such as Christmas caroling at area nursing homes, fundraisers for organizations like the American Heart Association, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, as well as other service projects in the Johnstown community. Through these service projects, choir members are strengthening ties with the members of the region and proving that UPJ is an important part of the overall Johnstown community.

The choir is also able to act as ambassadors for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown via concert tours. Through touring the choir exemplifies the educational and performance aspects the University has to offer. Likewise, the members of the choir are exposed to educational opportunities such as adjudications and master classes while on tour, further enhancing their own academic and performance knowledge.
