Each day of club we strive to watch two episodes of two different anime previously selected at the beginning of the semester. After watching, we take turns sharing opinions on the episodes (optional), with some banter (not always optional). With what time we have left, we do whatever the day's planned activity is; sometimes its another discussion, sometimes its a game, and sometimes its a chance to showcase elements of anime you enjoy!
Once per semester we host our Anime Club Karaoke Night. There is no set theme, and there are no limits to what songs you can sing!
During the semester we'll also have occasional movie nights that we also preselect at the beginning of the semester; these always occur at 8:30 on Saturday nights and we will always put out notice!

Outside of club, we try to secure funding (most of the time) for different anime and Japanese culture-themed events across Pittsburgh.
Conventions are a main off campus activities, Pittsburgh holds three; Tekko (Summer), Sangawa Project (February 6-8), and Scotty Con CMU (March 26). The conventions are a fun way to meet up with friends and interact with other anime fans, cosplay is always fun and encouraged!

We also, with the help of Pitt's Department of East Asian Languages, now go to Japanese media-themed concerts throughout the area. Examples include 2024's One Piece Symphony, and the upcoming Joe Hisashi/Studio Ghibli Concert in September.
