About Us

The Beta Delta Chapter’s tradition, going back to May 14th, 1937, is to support ECE fields in Pittsburgh through networking, leading and team-working, developing as people and professionals, and serving as active community members. Our events often focus on service and volunteering, leadership and career development, soft skills, and community - in the past, we have volunteered at the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair, worked with other ECE Clubs to promote them through the ECE Club Fair, put on an interchapter event in collaboration with the Epsilon and Sigma chapters, and hosted a founders day event to celebrating the founding of the first HKN chapter. In the University of Pittsburgh’s ECE Department, the Beta Delta Chapter also regularly collaborates with other ECE Clubs to be a resource in helping to promote their goals and engagement with the community.
