About Us
The purpose of the Jazz Ensemble at the University of Pittsburgh is to provide students with an opportunity to learn and perform jazz music in a larger ensemble setting. It fosters creative collaboration, disciplined learning, and a friendly community between musicians via student and faculty sponsored events, performances and concerts. The Jazz Ensemble at Pitt is also responsible for providing entertainment for events hosted by Pitt official and/or student organizations across campus.
