About Us
The mission of Model African Union is to enhance knowledge about politics and diplomacy, especially in Africa, by simulating the processes of the African Union. Through participation in the International Model African Conference, a simulation where delegations represent an African nation and create and pass policies by collaborating with other delegations from across the U.S. and world, Model African Union is a place to apply lessons learned in the classroom to real-life diplomatic simulations. Model African Union hones research, negotiating, and public speaking skills while creating networking opportunities and broadening global awareness.
