About Us
MEDLIFE is a network of medical professionals, motivated students, and trained staff who work together with communities in need to deliver better access to Medicine, Education, and Development. The MEDLIFE chapter at the University of Pittsburgh is involved in continuing MEDLIFE's mission in providing medicine, education and development both internationally and locally. Members volunteer with local Pittsburgh organizations, support the MEDLIFE fund through fundraising and collecting donations, participate in education events focused on global health, and attend social events. Once a year, the MEDLIFE chapter at Pitt sends members on an international week-long service trip to one of MEDLIFE's various mobile clinics in Peru, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, and Tanzania.
