Student Involvement Homecoming Opportunities!

Homecoming 2025 is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate Pitt pride with you! From volunteering to showing up for your favorite traditions, there are so many ways to get involved this year.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Training

We provide training for all volunteers so you feel prepared and confident in your role. Training ensures you understand the Pitt Alumni Association (PAA), the purpose of our events, and the expectations we have for volunteers. It’s also a great way to connect with other students, ask questions, and feel supported before stepping into your shift. Important: All non–Blue & Gold Society Ambassadors and PASN Council Members must complete the Homecoming Volunteer Form.

Onboarding Meetings (September 15–26): New volunteers who are not current Blue & Gold Society Ambassadors or PASN Council Members will attend one onboarding meeting. You’ll be given several times to choose from. These sessions will introduce you to the PAA, explain the impact of your volunteer work, and cover the basics of event support and expectations.

All Volunteer Training (September 29, 8:30 pm to 10 pm): This session is required for every student volunteer, including Blue & Gold Society Ambassadors and PASN Council Members. We’ll review event logistics, walk through responsibilities, and answer questions so you are fully ready to help bring Homecoming to life. If you cannot make one of the training sessions, please reach out to pittalumnistudentprograms@pitt.edu.
