Mission
The purpose of SOAR is to promote interest and participation in space-related activities within the University of Pittsburgh, the student body, and the greater Pittsburgh area. SOAR will host events for students interested in aerospace, including guest speakers, career development workshops, and provide a forum for all aerospace-related organizations across campus to collaborate. SOAR will also be responsible for operating and maintaining its own makerspace within Benedum Engineering Hall in room SB17 which will serve as a place for all aerospace-related organizations to use for manufacturing, team meetings, and storage.
