About Us
The purpose of this organization is to cultivate a growing pre-dental and dental community. The primary methods include providing students the opportunity to travel to underserved international communities with low access to proper oral care and shadow/assist local dentists with several dental procedures, learning about dental hygiene and teaching this information to the locals in each country, preparing for interaction with members of international communities via fundraising for the trip and participating in other dental-related events (guest speakers, dental students, and other major figures and the dental community), providing students with local shadowing/volunteering opportunities in Pittsburgh as well, and follow all student organization policies related to international travel.
