Shop Talk

  • What it is

Shop Talk is where members bring questions about their own cars: a noise, a warning light, or a job you're deciding whether to take on yourself.

Members share what they know and help each other figure out what to check first.

  • Learning to work on your own car

One of RPM's goals is to help members learn to maintain and repair their own cars. We're starting with hands-on workshops on a training car, where you can learn the basics step by step with someone experienced next to you.

As the club builds up its tools, space, and experience, we plan to open sessions where members bring in their own cars and do the work themselves, with help from the club.

  • Bring a question

Come to a general body meeting with a real problem, whether it's a strange noise, a check engine light, or a job you're thinking about doing yourself.

Between meetings, post it in the club's GroupMe and other members will chime in.
