Mission
The A Cappella Council subcommittee shall consist of officers from all University of Pittsburgh student organizations that perform a cappella vocal music. The main purpose of the A Cappella Council shall be to coordinate the many on-campus concerts that the groups at the school perform through technical equipment setup and room reservations through student affairs. It shall also serve to resolve issues pertaining to the groups and to maintain a sense of community among all campus a cappella groups.

The African Students Organization is a cultural student organization of the University of Pittsburgh whose main purpose is to promote and create cultural awareness on Pitt's campus regarding different African cultures and foster an effective networking and support network for students.
