Club Cheer at Pitt brings together students who have an interest in cheer or learning skills. We have three teams: Blue Team (Competitive), Gold Team (Non-competitive), and White Team (Non-competitive). The Blue Team requires a tryout; tumbling is encouraged, and stunting experience is needed. Gold and White Teams do not require a tryout and many members are new to cheer, no previous experience needed! We are less demanding than being on a University Team, but we still hold practices and social events within the club. We encourage teammates to become well rounded, learn new things, and have fun!

We are a member of the ALC, which is a conference within the MCLA. Teams in our division include West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Liberty, NC State, JMU, Temple, Tennessee and Clemson.
The regular season begins early February and goes through late April. Playoffs go from late April to early May.
In addition to being a part of a competitive lacrosse team, you are also afforded opportunities socially and academically that will benefit your experience at Pitt greatly.
We also look to compete for ALC and MCLA Championship at a yearly basis

MMA combines the major combative martial arts such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and wrestling into one art form for peak fighting skills. At the MMA club we offer top tier coaching for free (no club fees) and we provide a relaxed club environment for people of all skill levels, no experience is necessary and all are welcome. We, the members of the University of Pittsburgh Rowing Club, dedicate ourselves to furthering the goals of lifetime health and physical activity for all members. In cooperation with the University and the Office of Student Activities, we will promote the sport of rowing, competition, and good sportsmanship. This will be achieved through a program of teaching the basic fundamentals of rowing, as well as advanced competitive training in a positive and unified atmosphere. In addition, we hope to further the goals of the individual regarding his/her recreation along with their physical and mental health. Mission
We are the Taekwondo club at the University of Pittsburgh. We welcome all Pitt students, faculty, staff, and alumni. No experience is necessary, and all levels and styles of Taekwondo are welcome and encouraged to come. Some things we practice as a club are forms (poomsae), sparring, basic and advanced kicks/blocks/strikes. We'll also work on increasing flexibility, endurance, stamina, balance, and strength. Members will also have the opportunity to perform in Taekwondo demonstrations for special events and participate in collegiate taekwondo competitions.
